Family. -- His father is unknown to him and his mother recently deceased. He has no known siblings, and knows very little of his extended family.
Status. -- Free, middle class. Earns coin by making decorative glass or fire dancing.
Origins. -- The fiery pits of a volatile, volcanic island.

☾ Born within a small community of his kin, Cyr'xa grew up in an environment only the hardiest and smartest could survive and endure. From the day he was born, the world around him wanted to consumed him in molten lava or choke him with ash, and he had to grow up resilient to make it. As much as the world molded him, so too was his mind hardened by the atmosphere in which he lived. He is confident and self assured, with no shame in who he is or how he might appear to some, because he knows that he is a survivor above all else.

The loss of his mother was a hard thing for him to swallow, and after grieving Cyr'xa found himself keen to move on and see the world beyond the smog of the volcanic mountains. The moon beckoned him forth and he listened to the call.

His ventures have landed him upon the isles of Guildereim, where for now he intends to settle and try to evolve. Free, but not wealthy, he endeavors to make coin in selling glass ware that he can craft, or in potential shows of fire dancing. This is a whole new world though, not as isolated as the one in which he grew up. People are different, and he must find himself adapting if he wishes to thrive, lest he be consumed by this new world. ☽

Height. -- 5 foot, 1 inch. (Over 6 foot with ears) Weight. -- Tends to fluctuate around 120lbs, with a lot of that in his tail. Build. -- Petite overall. Lean and slight, with thick hips and ass.

Eyes. -- Black sclera, orange irises rimmed in red. Black, cattish pupil. Hair. -- Waist length and straight. Silky texture, ombres from deep navy to dusty red. Modifications. -- None. Really believes he is perfect without them, but appreciates on others.

Fur. -- A dark, dusty blue grey base with lighter undertones along his jaw, belly, shoulders, legs and tail, with lighter, lavender grey splotches accenting the muzzle, sides and tail. Ashen red dusts his topcoat, with rosettes of varying sizes gracing his ears, shoulders, wrists, calves, back and tail. The rosettes are bold, somehow seeming to shift between orange and yellow, much like lava.
Tail. -- 6 foot in length, it is longer than he is tall. It is prehensile and strong, with long, willowy fur that seems to drape from it like liquid. When hot, he will whip it back and forth frantically to get air through the fur to cool down.
Feet. -- Digitigrade paws, with dew claws, long and sharp to aid in gripping rock surfaces and climbing. The bottom of his paw pads are extremely tough and numbed by a lifetime of walking on hot earth. Long fetlocks and fur between toes helps protect feet a little more from the hot ground.
Mouth. -- Gums and tongue are various shades of blue, his tongue long and slender. He possesses double canine teeth, on both upper and lower jaw.
Ears. -- Over a foot long, like many of his kind they are a defining feature. Because of where he grew up, his ears have adapted to have long tufts inside them to keep ash and soot out of the ear canal and protect them.

Likes. Laying under the moonlight. Paying tribute to his God. Dark, bitter coffee. Well charred food. Colourful glass. Braiding hair, either his own or others. Being pampered, fawned over or otherwise treated well. Music of most kinds. Blankets.. the softer the better.

Dislikes. Raw food, meat or otherwise. Being criticized. People using the word cute in regards to him. The cold. Complete darkness. Overly whiny individuals. People who cannot relax and take it easy.

Attire. -- Favours clothing more androgynous, bordering on feminine. Plain, floor length skirts of flowing materials with slits up both side to the waist. Tight, corseted waist cinchers with no over or undershirt. Favours simple colours, usually blacks, whites and golds, so that the style steals the show and maintains an elegant sort of look.

Voice. -- Soft and slightly husky, yet undoubtedly masculine. Example.
Speaks Zyvoa and common. Uses sounds to vocalize a lot.

Demeanor. -- Confident and a touch narcissistic. He is elegant in his actions and appreciates similar traits in others. Sassy and sharp tongued, he is fairly friendly in spite of this. Like many of his ilk however, he feel that Zykla are above most other species. His temper can be easy to push however and when it is, he can become incredibly snappy.

Defenses. --
Bite force. Small, snappy jaws pack a mean punch. He has a bite pressure of 730 psi. This, teamed with lockjaw under moments of stress make for a very nasty bite.
Tar spit. Mouth possesses four tar glands. The tar itself is a viscous black liquid produced primarily from the resin of wood and roots in the Zykla's diet. The tar-like spit is used as a defense mechanism. When used, the tar will cling to the surface of the desired target. Not only is it an extremely thick and sticky substance, it is also highly flammable.
NOTE. Cyr'xa's tar is far harsher than most Zykla, thanks to the volcanic regions he comes from. It is particularly vile thanks to years of breathing in harsh ash and soot, and is potentially deadly if it gets into another's body.
Strong legs. -- Adapted to years of jumping over rivers of lava and leaping onto rocks, his legs are particularly springy and he can jump several feet into the air with little effort.



Quirks. --
⋆Ears flicker when stressed or irate.
⋆Has a habit of humming when unimpressed with something, usually instead of responding with words.
⋆Likes to brush, braid and decorate hair. Does not matter if it is his own or someone else's.
⋆Does not like to be cute or assumed weak because he is small. He is smol, but mighty. Or at least, so he believes.
⋆He does not believe much in gender stereotypes when it comes to clothing, behavior or styling in general. Whatever makes people feel right should be the normal way. He is however, male and does not like people assuming him anything else.
